Instrumentation2017, 21 accelerometers on 5 levels plus 3 accelerometers at a reference free-field.

Vertical Load Carrying SystemConcrete fill over steel deck supported by steel beams and columns at the First Level and above. Concrete flat slabs supported by concrete beams, concrete walls and concrete-encased steel columns at the Ground and Basement Levels.
Lateral Force Resisting SystemSteel moment resisting frames with SidePlate connections in the E-W direction at perimeter locations at First Level and above. Steel buckling restrained braced frames (BRBF) in the N-S direction at interior locations at First Level and above. Concrete shear walls at perimeter and interior locations in both directions below First Level.
Foundation Type48" thick concrete mat with 24" diameter concrete auger cast piles grouped at wall and column locations.
RemarksThe building was designed in accordance with the 2007 California Building Code with the lateral force design criteria approved by OSHPD as Alternate Means of Compliance. Funding for instrumentation was provided by the owner as required by OSHPD. CSMIP provided assistance in instrumentation.
